As voting members of your constituency, we support the homeowner’s rights agenda of Texas Public Interest Research Group.  We believe that the Texas Residential Construction Commission should be reformed into an agency that truly protects the interests of Texas homeowners, that our elected officials should review the insurance industry in Texas and act to rein in our home insurance rates, and that meaningful legislation banning deceptive and predatory mortgage lending practices should be passed.
